Redwater Cogeneration Plant

Overview

The Redwater Cogeneration Plant, located at Williams Energy Canada Fractionation and Storage Plant in Redwater, Alta., has provided the province with approximately 46 megawatts of electricity since 2001. The plant is customized to use a blend of natural gas and regeneration gas, a product of Williams Energy’s fractionation business, to fuel the gas turbine.
